Dosing guide

Level Dose Notes
Light / first week 200 mcg per session, 1–2× daily
Standard 300 mcg per session, 1–2× daily
Upper range 600 mcg daily total ceiling for most users

Timing & cycling

Intranasal, one spray/drop per nostril per session. Morning and early afternoon slots — late dosing can be too stimulating for some.

Cycle length. Russian clinical practice uses 10–14 day courses; nootropic users run 2–4 week blocks with breaks.

Storage & handling

Store the made-up nasal solution in the refrigerator and replace it roughly monthly — peptides in solution degrade at room temperature. Keep unopened powder cool, dry, and dark.

Key points

  • Sold as ready 0.1% spray (≈100 mcg per spray) or as powder; if mixing your own, dose per spray = concentration × spray volume (most pumps deliver ~0.1 mL).
  • Refrigerate the made-up spray and replace it monthly — peptides in solution at room temp degrade.
  • N-acetyl and Adamax variants are dosed lower; these numbers are for classic Semax.

What to monitor

Subjective focus/energy and sleep quality — if sleep degrades, drop the afternoon session.

Legal & prescription status

Not FDA-approved in the United States. It is an approved/prescription medicine in Russia and some neighbouring countries, but in the US it is sold only as a research chemical labelled 'not for human consumption,' with no legal route to a prescription.
